A-Gas Launches its MyShare Programme

Portishead, UK, [6th August 2024] - A-Gas, a global leader in the supply and lifecycle management of refrigerants and associated products and services, has announced the launch of its MyShare programme. It has been rolled out to ensure employees globally benefit from their contribution to A-Gas’ growth and success.

Since A-Gas began in 1993, it has welcomed new investors to support its growth, including KKR in 2017, who were joined by TPG Rise Climate in 2023. Both firms have made extensive commitments to increasing employee shared ownership at companies across their respective portfolios, including A-Gas. Through the MyShare programme, A-Gas employees now have a unique opportunity to benefit directly from the value the company creates in the form of a cash payout when the current investment cycle ends.

To launch the MyShare programme, A-Gas held events in each of its sites around the A-Gas Globe. Employees worldwide gathered to spend time together, take part in team-building exercises, and learn more about the opportunities MyShare will bring.

In addition to recognising and rewarding employee contributions, A-Gas aims to strengthen its company culture by fostering a sense of ownership. The MyShare programme encourages employees to think, act, and feel like owners, enhancing engagement and alignment with the company’s goals and values. MyShare aims to influence A-Gas employees to take greater pride in their work, be more accountable, and deliver against both their personal and company goals.
