A-Gas Takes Part in "Jungle"-Style Competition for Charity

In early February 2025, A-Gas took part in “I’m NOT a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here”, a fundraising event organised by the Bristol-based charity Jessie May.

Jessie May was founded in 1996, and since then it has been providing vital expert care packages for children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions. It means the children can spend quality time with their families at home while taking part in activities and being cared for by the charity’s nurses.

The “I’m NOT a Celebrity…” event saw people from a range of local businesses take part in a series of challenges while having the opportunity to raise money.

The competition was organised by Kim James-Coggins, Jessie May’s Community Engagement Fundraising Officer, who said: “We are very grateful to A-Gas for taking part in the first ever instance of ‘I’m NOT a Celebrity…’. It was a fantastic day which saw them get stuck into the challenges and have great fun along the way. We are looking forward to working with A-Gas again in the future.”

All the money raised by A-Gas will help Jessie May continue to provide and expand its services. It will enable it to invest in resources that will make a big difference to children and their families in both Bristol and the surrounding area.

A-Gas is always pleased to be able to support Jessie May’s cause. We would like to thank everybody who took part and made it possible.
